Join us for Mahjong with a Cop, a welcoming and inclusive community event designed to bring people together through culture, conversation, and connection. Mahjong is more than just a game—it’s a cherished tradition across many Asian cultures, symbolizing strategy, social bonding, and generations of shared history. For many, it’s a way to connect with family, build friendships, and keep cultural heritage alive.
This event invites participants of all backgrounds and experience levels to learn and play mahjong in a relaxed, friendly environment. Whether you’re completely new or already familiar with the game, you’ll have the opportunity to learn, share tips, and enjoy meaningful interactions.
A key goal of this gathering is to strengthen relationships between the Asian community and law enforcement officers by creating a space for open dialogue and genuine connection. By coming together over a shared activity, we hope to foster mutual understanding, break down barriers, and build trust.
Light refreshments will be provided, with some items generously donated by Anna's Cake House.
Please note that this is a casual, non-gambling event—no money will be used or permitted in gameplay. Attendees are also welcome to simply come by, observe, and socialize.
Come for the game, stay for the conversation, and leave with new connections.
